Temple Beth Emet of Temecula Valley

The Lamad Academy

Temple Beth Emet of Temecula Valley is now offering a truly in-depth and comprehensive Jewish educational program for children to enable them to become a Bar or Bat Mitzvah.

Our main objectives are to provide students with the interest and motivation to join the ranks of our Jewish community as young adults, confident with their understanding of everything Judaic. They will learn about our ancestor's extraordinary history of miracles, contributions and survival, and gain an appreciation and understanding of the Jewish holidays, traditions, rituals, values, life cycle ceremonies and observances.

Our students will learn the structure of traditional religious services and be able to recite and sing, as appropriate, the psalms and prayers we regularly do in Hebrew. They will learn to read or chant directly from the Torah, while gaining knowledge and understanding of the bible stories throughout it. Additionally, our students will be able to draw from the readings, and apply valuable meanings to their own lives in our contemporary world.

If you have one or more children five years of age or older, and are wanting them to have a Jewish education separate from any other public or private school educational format, please contact us for more information at our Temple's email address:

If your child is within a year or two of the traditional B'nai Mitzvah age (twelve for girls and thirteen for boys) and has yet to begin preparing for this life-cycle event, we will provide a program tailored to his/her specific needs.
